Council approves plans for Ford dealership
The City Council paved the way for the Sioux City Ford dealership to relocate from 2001 Sixth Street to a larger location in Singing Hills.
The development agreement calls for Rydell Management to construct a 31,500-square-foot building by Dec. 31, 2011; enter into a minimum assessment agreement of $4 million for 10 years effective Jan. 1, 2012; and convey title to 9,380 square feet of right-of-way so the city can extend Line Drive. The site plan calls for constructing a dealership building and a separate body shop. The agreement also calls for River City Property, owner of Billion Kia, to dedicate right-of-way for that street.
